
Mercy Thokozane Minah is a queer multidisciplinary culture worker who has been making art in visual and literary mediums for over five years. Their work centres Black queer and trans contemporary experiences, as well as human-rights advocacy. They have been published in short story anthologies such as the Lambda-award-winning Queer Africa: New and Collected fiction, Outside the XY: Black and Brown Queer Masculinities and Exhale: African Queer Erotica. Mercy has also had their visual art featured in several book publications, such as GALA (the Gay and Lesbian Archive)’s Queer African Activist Stories anthology series and Dwelling: a collection of South African fine art and literature, on the concept of “home” curated, edited and published by Ruth de Cerff.
