Izula Jade (they/Yeye/we), born in Kansas City, Missouri — aka Occupied Missouria-Otoe-Ioway Territory — is a lover of the soil and soul of our people. We carry forward the work as a thread in the tapestry of ancestral technology of the displaced — from Alkebulan through the Caribbean to Turtle Island, Honoring the stolen lands and chained hands that survived through seed, word, blood and dream, we offer our art, Prayertree, as a bridge between land, spirit, and memory.
Izula Jade is a Mother, Prayer Warrior, Returning Generation Farmer, Traditional Midwife, Co-Land Steward at Sankara Farm and Ujamaa Coop KC
