Mayk Brambilla, a Brazilian from the Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area, began his artistic journey in mid-2016, formalizing a childhood dream and curiosity: photography. After training in digital photography (2016), he discovered visual arts and processes in general. In 2018, through studies and research into analog practices based on photography, he developed a taste for and experiments with manual collage. From the process of creating his own poetics and language to the present day, the artist works with diverse techniques and media, connecting the everyday with the surreal imagination.
