Geoffrey “Geo” Edwards is an educator and healing arts practitioner from Milwaukee, WI, whose work integrates art therapy, herbal medicine, and acupuncture. He currently resides in Detroit, MI, and is the owner of Grain & Pestle, an urban healing arts farm and apothecary based in Highland Park, Michigan. Geo’s herb and gardening practice has multiple influences that include Black Southern farming, Maroon herbal traditions, and Classical Chinese Medicine. Geo is a guest lecturer in colleges, universities, and community herbalism schools nationally and internationally. He currently practices acupuncture in Detroit and facilitates classes and workshops on numerous topics ranging from art, holistic mental health, qigong, herbal medicine, and nutrition.
