Daria jocelyn dockery (they/she) is an artist. She was born beside the Detroit River and is now based in Atlanta, Georgia. Their plays, poems, and essays are informed by folk wisdom, the depths and intricacies of Blackness, the poem, the mother and all that might be carried by the Black woman’s memory. In addition to her text work, daria is a land steward, yoga practitioner, and mentor to Black & queer youth.
