Bry Reed is a Baltimore-born and bred writer and researcher. She's a 2021 Rubys Artist Grant awardee, a Writers in Baltimore Schools board member, and a 2025 Baker Artist Award Finalist in Literary Arts. She regularly contributes to The Baltimore Beat and co-edited the essay collection Surviving The Future: Abolitionist Queer Strategies with Raven Hudson and Shuli Branson for PM Press. Additionally, she has been featured on panels in collaboration with CityLit Project, Red Emma's, The Clifton House, and other art organizations across the U.S.
